Step families in church? No way! That doesn’t happen. Totally kidding. The reality is that there are many Christian families who have experienced divorce. But where do we fit into the church? What does the Bible say about blended families? How do we navigate the unique complexities that come with being a step family? Join us as we dive into The Smart Stepfamily by Ron L. Deal. The book covers seven fundamental steps to blended family success and provides practical, realistic solutions to the issues we each face as a stepfamily. Whether married or soon-to-be-married, this book study will help you grow together as a blended family and in your relationship with Christ. We are a recently married blended family with a 7 year old from a previous marriage and a baby girl coming in the Spring. Though we often fall short, we’ve done our best to navigate this new season of life with Christ as the foundation of our family. We found this book and love the principals it covers and its constant scripture references. We will meet every Monday at 6pm at our home in McCordsville.
