Known for its remote Pacific location, towering volcanic mountains, and beautiful beaches, Hawaii is a state with much to be explored. Located 2,000 miles from the mainland, 1.4 million residents call this state home, often working in the agriculture, tourism, or military sectors. 

With a proud local culture that has a strong value on its native roots and values, the islands of Hawaii have put an emphasis on sustainability for their communities. The huge tourism industry has wreaked havoc on the ability of local communities to survive and thrive. PPM partners with local churches rooted in the community, and in every mission trip, we prioritize engaging with ongoing, sustainable ministries.

Although Hawaii has its uniqueness, the ministry of PPM on the islands is consistent with our desire to build up, encourage, and assist the local Church. Your team will be partnered directly alongside a local church as you work to serve those who call Hawaii home. As one of the most diverse states in the US, your team will have the opportunity to work with people from many backgrounds as you serve and love those around you. This year, we will be providing disaster relief to the residents of Maui after the devastating wildfires in 2023.
